Art Director/ Design Guru

Lead a production team charged with creating the go-to sources for reliable, relevant information that motivate, inform and enrich the lives of our loyal community of readers.

We’re looking for a committed graphic artist with a distinct graphic style and an impeccable command of design elements. (i.e. your taste in font usage is killer, you’re a wizard at sizing and placing art elements, you have an educated eye for design, etc.) You’re in your element leading a team and possess the ability to constructively critique others’ work. Interns

Need an internship for college credit? Want to gain valuable on-the-job skills? Interested in learning more about the wild world of publishing? An internship at the Toledo City Paper could be for you! We are looking for marketing interns to assist with our sales and advertising department as well as editorial interns and social media interns to help out the staff writers. If you are enrolled in a marketing, communications, journalism, English, or advertising program and have 2-3 days per week to commit to our internship program, send our editor an e-mail along with a resume and samples.

Sales Coordinator

We are currently seeking a full-time Sales Coordinator to support our sales department. This position will assist the sales team to ensure that our advertising is sold, managed and placed effectively and efficiently. You will work with our Account Executives, as well as the Production and Editorial Departments, to maintain deadlines and company standards.

The Sales Coordinator’s duties include, but are not limited to:

assigning ad leads, assisting with ad collection, sending invoices, ad tracking for print and digital advertising, performing day-to-day administrative tasks, answering phones, and creating sales reports.

The right candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented and deadline-driven multi-tasker who can problem solve, think quickly, and thrive under pressure.
