Growing up as a gay person in 1970s Quebec, she knew what it felt like to be an outsider, but was not prepared to be publicly humiliated by her friends and partner in the gay community. Here, the aging drag queen speaks with her partner Cuirette, a leather-clad biker, about what happened during the ground breaking play “Hosanna” by Michel Tremblay.
