The I Do and Brew Contest is going to be at the Maumee Bay Brewing Company on Feb. 28 from 5 pm to 8 pm. The contest’s prize includes a wedding venue, honeymoon, diamond rings, flowers, gown, DJ services, cake, wedding planner, rehearsal dinner, day-of makeup, photography and more.
The prizes are supplied by local businesses like C Sterling Jewelers, Ahava Spa and Wellness Center, Book that DJ, Luckybird Photography and more. The total value of the prizes come to roughly $30,000 for the all-encompassing wedding plans.
The event is being organized by Rebecca Bennett, Maumee Bay Brewing’s Events and Meetings Sales Manager. Bennett’s goals with the events that she organizes for the Brewery is to craft extraordinary experiences for the brewery’s guests and events, while bringing a fresh perspective to every aspect of the events.

Some of the other events that Bennett has organized for Maumee Bay Brewing Company are business luncheons, hoppy hour, trivia nights, live music performances, Midwest Comedy Tour, the Thrift & Sip Bridal Edition, Crafts & Drafts, a St. Patrick’s Day Celebration and an exquisite Easter Buffet.
Maumee Bay Brewing Company is Toledo’s oldest craft brewery still in operation being founded in 1995. Based out of the Historic Oliver House in Downtown Toledo, Ohio, Maumee Bay offers a great atmosphere, food and some brews.
