The Toledo Zoo is bringing back their orchid show this February for every weekend starting on Feb. 9 through Feb. 25 starting at 10 am and ending at 4pm. Visitors will find the show at the ProMedica Museum of Natural History.
The three week long show includes many classes, demonstrations, and workshops for visitors to learn more about horticulture. Topics of the classes can be about how to care for the orchids, how to photograph the orchids, and even building a terrarium to house your own plants at home.

The show will feature over 1,800 plants allowing guests to experience a wide variety of vibrant colors, scents and to learn the backstories with many of the rare and exotic orchids around the world.
This year is also holding a special events to help elevate the experience which include Blooms & Bubbly for champagne tasting with small plates, venture into Venom Among the Vines with cocktails and an up-close view of snakes, or savor Slow Brew with local coffee samples and live music. These events are ticketed.
There will be an opportunity for those who attend to purchase an orchid of their own however this opportunity is after the show. The show ends on Feb. 25 and the opportunity to purchase your own orchid is on March 2 in the ProMedica Museum of Natural History Great Hall from 10 am to 2 pm.
