On 6600 W Sylvania Ave., the American Cancer Society has one of its discovery shops. The American Cancer Society Discovery shops aim to help support the fight against cancer through the sale of high quality, gently used, donated merchandise and has been doing so for over 40 years.
The American Cancer Society has owned and operated these specialty resale stores, The Toledo location features items such as clothing, accessories, jewelry, furniture, artwork, antiques, collectibles and other household items.

These stores are non-profits and uses donations of gently used clothing, shoes, jewelry, housewares and furniture. The shop also has a variety of meaningful volunteering opportunities which you can find out about from the store’s manager at 419-882-6567.
The American Cancer Society’s mission is to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat and survive cancer.
