Setting the stage

Inside and outside of Creative Writing classes, Toledo School for the Arts students work hard and honestly to hone their skills. To help students push themselves further, teacher and club leader Justin Longacre has brought students out of the school and into public spaces for open mics and readings. Join passionate students for their 4th Open Mic at Black Kite Coffee. A diverse group of rappers, poets and creative writers will show their highlights, setting the stage for their future.
