A few days before the anniversary of legendary writer Charles Bukowski’s death (March 9), honor the gritty, grim, sometimes-funny, but always-critical writer’s work during the annual Bukowski Memorial Reading. Locals are invited to read their favorite Bukowski pieces, in 10 minute slots, during an open-mic style reading. For those interested in reading, a signup sheet will be available. Otherwise, do what Bukowski would do— sit back, drink, listen and think.
