Run, Run, Rudolph…uh, I mean, Santa
Dress up in your most festive holiday wear, or come dressed as the main man, St. Nick, himself, and take part in the Run Santa Run event on Sunday, December 19 at Levis Commons in Perrysburg. Hundreds of runners and walkers will take part in this flat-course 5K, beginning and ending near Second Sole in Levis Commons. Participants will also receive a toy sack of Run Santa swag, including a finisher medal. $30 through December 18. 9am-10:30am. 4130 Levis Commons Blvd. runsanta5k.com 

Walking in a winter wonderland
See the city’s parks in a whole new way when the snow hits the ground. Head for the trails where the Metroparks will offer a selection of snowshoeing events for folks looking to walk, or even run, through the beautiful sights of Toledo’s park system.  Keep an eye on the Metroparks website (metroparkstoledo.com) and Facebook page (facebook.com/MetroparksToledo) to see when pop-up snowshoeing events are announced.
