UT Film professor, Holly Hey, will be crossing the pond to share her work

This November, Associate professor and leader of the UT Film Program, Holly Hey, will be crossing the pond to share her work and perspective with movie buffs from around the world. Hey has been selected to screen her documentary that centers around “the dum dum capitol of the world” at the acclaimed, international Aesthetica Short Film Festival in York, UK. Hey’s first person, short film focuses on themes of home, memory, family, sexuality and time. Spangler Candy Company, most known for producing Dum Dum Pops, is based in Hey’s hometown of Bryan, OH. “the dum dum capitol of the world” has been screened at other prestigious festivals in the year since it was released, including the Ann Arbor Film Festival and the
Queens World Film Festival in New York.
