In conjunction with the series Families on Film, the Toledo Museum of Art will feature a showing of the 1984 film Paris, Texas. Directed by Wim Wenders, the film follows Travis (Harry Stanton) on a trip across the American West in search of his estranged wife, his son and Travis’ brother. The inability to communicate furthers Travis’ isolation from his family, while memories, from the grandeur of the desert to the false glitter of Los Angeles, resurface throughout the film. $5-$7.
