Based on the life story of Chicano rock icon Ritchie Valens, La Bamba was a box office hit in 1987 and launched the career of Lou Diamond Phillips. With the Center’s first free movie screening of the year, the Sofia Quintero Center will celebrate Musica en Marzo with a showing of La Bamba.
