Take to the skies with this historical adventure. Rise Above chronicles the efforts of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first African-American aviators in the U.S. military. Their flights and missions during WWII were instrumental in success on the battlefield and against racial discrimination in the military.
The short film will be shown in The Rise Above Traveling Exhibit, a fully functional theater housed in a 53 foot semi-trailer with expandable sides. Visitors sit in climate-controlled comfort and watch the original movie “RISE ABOVE” on a panoramic screen that brings the movie to life. An authentic P-51C Mustang plane is also part of the exhibit.
