Independent film festival now open to the world

One of the world’s most popular film festivals spotlighting emerging artists is moving online. Slamdance, an annual festival traditionally held in Park City, Utah, will host its 2021 edition on February 12-25 via its website, as well as on AppleTV, Roku, Fire Stick and YouTube. The event will feature 25 full features and over 100 shorts and episodics, as well as debuting a new program named “Unstoppable” spotlighting disabled creators.
