Blues on screen

Maumee Valley Country Day School celebrates a cornerstone of American music with its Homecoming Blues Fest, featuring a screening of the short film True Delta, made by MVCDS alumnus Erickson Blakney. The film explores the impact of the blues on the Delta region through interviews with performers and natives. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker and featured musician Howl-N-Madd Perry. The Blues Fest will follow on the school's Bluestone Plaza, with special alumni guests, hors d'oeuvres and cash bar. Free and open to the public. Friday, September 28, 6pm.
