Recognized internationally the AAFF receives about 3,000 film submissions a year from more than 70 countries. Last year’s annual Festival, the 58th, became the first virtual AAFF as organizers had only 12 days to arrange the logistics. The Festival in 2020 was viewed from 16,000 unique email addresses for over 100 countries! This year’s 59th AAFF will also be virtual with films being shown online from March 23 to March 28.
